I have needed a separate blog from my family blog one that can be more silly and random. So here will be my random thoughts. Most likely I will post my crafts, recipes, home organization projects and such. I am in no way consistent in blogging, keeping journals or being punctual. This is me!
Me-love, wife, mother, student, home chef, dreamer, silly girl, athlete, bookworm, movie lover, history buff, friend, sister, daughter, Jack of all trades, master on some, crochet lady,
Loves- Husband, daughter, family, cooking, creating, memories, reading, running, out doors, studying, church, canola fields, fairy tales, nature, shopping, FOOD, pizza night, traditions, board games, beach, holidays, hosting thanksgiving, exercises, laughter, crying, hugs, Disney, Jane Austin, Rohld Dahl, imagination, coincidences, leopard print, BBC,
Dislikes- contention and arguing, bad food, almost all chain restaurants, bad smells, waiting in lines, being hot( I don't mind being cold because there are things I can do to remedy the situation), whiners, middle school kids at movie theaters (I shoot them dirty looks, because apparently loud = funny, I remember)
Mwah!

Sunday morning? Crepes?
Family traditions my childhood has many of them. My favorite none holiday tradition is the crepe feast of people my Dad would prepare some times a few hundred of them at a time. We would have contests to see who could eat the most of them I think my number is up to about 19-20.
When ever friends or cousins talk about my Dad making crepes it makes me smile because it is a part of their childhood as well.
The best part is the time together, the conversations shared, and new concoctions of fillings discovered (my new favorite is fresh lemon and sugar, thanks to my wonderful hubs for introducing me to it!). Thanks to my Father who is a saint. I have hundreds of wonderful memories and a passion to pass the traditions along to my kids and there kids.
Here is my Dad with some of his grand kids partaking in the after crepe activity. The game of monster. Rules: monster in the middle must capture all kids jumping at the same time and hold them for ten seconds.
Like I said... He's a saint!

Life Is Beautiful
Life is beautiful...
each moment in its self is amazing.
we can take pictures, record a video, draw what we see, journal about it, but as soon as the moment passes we cant get it back. We can reminisce, remember and relish in our memories. Nothing can replace the physical moment. The smells, the sounds, the laughter.
I am grateful for my beautiful life, and my beautiful family!!
